This was a traditional form of execution, especially for the women found guilty of witchery. Most accusations of witchcraft, however, did not even originate in the church but resulted from personal rivalries and disputes in small towns and villages.
A mysterious and intoxicating scent, it captures bold top notes of leather and smoke, blended with sultry rose, dark musk, and burnt oud, with a strong base of charred lavender that completes the smokiness of this intensely earthy fragrance.
