Please trim your wick ¼ of an inch before each burn!
When lighting your candle be sure to let the top melt into a complete circle before extinguishing. This enhances the scent as well as ensuring an even burn each time.

I absolutely love the smell of the Pits and Bear candles. They come in the cutest jars and the smell throw is just enough to scent a room without being downright overwhelming. The burn on the candles is very even and melts to the edges very quickly, which is handy if you want to burn it for just a little while. Definitely my fault, and DEFINITELY read the instructions on the inside of the lid, but if you extinguish the candle using the lid, the wax solidifies somewhat unevenly. On the next burn, they still burn wonderfully–it’s absolutely just a cosmetic thing. I REALLY look forward to buying other scents in the future!

Extremely well packaged. I haven’t lit the candle yet to see how well the Heat Throw is compared to the Cold throw – looking forward to smelling it when wax is melted.

Does not smell like pits, but a very, very nice scent nonetheless. Also this seller sends little sample candles with their orders, and they sent me “Odin.” I normally hate coconut as a rule but in the Odin scent it actually goes really well with the woody notes.

I gave this to a friend as a birthday gift. We have a long running joke that this oddly was perfect for. The store owner was easy to communicate with. I forgot to add a gift note and asked to remove the invoice/pricing from the delivery. I can’t rate the smell and I don’t think she lit it, but its hilarious and worth every penny!
